Redefining the Joburg
Through building an eco-system where tenants thrive as a community, Victoria Yards presents a uniquely integrated urban complex that is as much about social development as it is commercial enterprise.

A fresh take on inner city development
We are actively looking for artisans and crafts people who require space to create, share and work. Whatever the scale of your operation we’d love to hear from you. Fostering essential skills starts with a place you can call home.
The Victoria Yards urban agriculture project means job creation as well as income generating opportunities. We are cultivating fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, give us a call to find out what is in season or to book your box of fresh Vic Yards veg.
The transfer of skills and knowledge means we can empower individuals within the community. As each person grows from apprentice to teacher the setup within Victoria Yards allows them to grow and showcase their abilities and ambitions.
All great societies have roots in the visual arts, with many prominent galleries taking space within the yards, the future for the arts looks bright. Nurturing undiscovered talent with support and places to work, network and exhibit is key to our vision.
If you have happened to arrive at Victoria Yards on our First Sunday then, well done!
This is the only day of the month that you can expect all studios and restaurants to be open, with the Makers and Growers Market in action and a host of other activities including Makers Patch for kids.
If you happen to be here and it is not a First Sunday, well, we are very happy to have you here but we do feel your pain if you have travelled from afar and are feeling let down. The studios are operated by real people that also need time out.
If it is food you are after and don’t find anything that you prefer here, then The Troyville Hotel serves amazing Portuguese food and cold beer just a few minutes by car from here.
